Yup, that was real. That was done in cebu philippines. I dont know how the authorities manage to made those people to dance. Only in the philippines

Well, the alternative must have been a hell of a lot worse if all those convicts chose to re-enact the Thriller music video.

yeah, that's in cebu.  it seems that they have done lots of those presentations (just search it in YouTube).  kinda surprising given the state of majority of the prisons in the philippines but i guess that's what you get if the warden puts his mind to it.  there's one great algorithm march these guys did and another one where they did radio gaga of queen.
