ISSUE ON THE BASE OF BOWEN HULK BY SHIFLETT

I just got this one on ebay for a cheap price of $149 shipped. Great deal right? That's what I thought when the seller mentioned to his description that the statue is in MINT condition. Unfortunately, I notice right away the base is deformed (uneven/not flat). Does anybody have an issue like this? And an idea to fix it? Thanks.
That sucks dude!  Maybe it got warped from some kind of heat?

At least you can't really tell from the front (if thats any consolation).

Sorry to hear about the warped base but that face is one only a mother could love.

Easiest way to fix it= get some sticky pads, museum gel or whatever.You can buy earthquake pads at the supermarket and just play with it until you've got it sittin as flat as you can.

are you missing a couple of those felt pads on the bottom?

INk- that was my first thought as well.

There does seem to be a fairly large bow at the back of the base.  Too bad.  As psycho said, you can't even tell from the front though.

How can the seller states quot;mintquot; condition in his eBay?  - another example of a bad seller lying about it.  It's so obvious not mint.  You should give the seller a negative feedback so maybe he'll learn his lesson.

I have never tried on a piece this big but maybe if you heat it up with a hair dryer you can flatten it out.
