Broken Statue... Not Broken For Long!

Had a local boardie approach me about a broken Frank Frazetta Snow Giants statue he wanted fixed.
Took the job but was a little difficult due to the very thin blade. Here are some progress shots...

Broken to the armature wire:

The sword had to be re-pinned and I used a little 5 minute epoxy to bind the 2 pieces then AVES Apoxie to fill the gap:
After some sanding, texturing and paint:


All fixed and back to it's owner!!

He's pretty happy with it. My next project for this guy is to repaint his Batman museum quality statue base.

I love fixing little broken pieces like that too! I love searching ebay (or here) for broken statues and making them good as new. Great job GE!
