Hardcover/Collected editions

I recently started going after hardcover and Collected editions (hc) of comics. I sold my full run of Ultimate Spider-Mans to fund almost all of what I have so far these are some of what I have and picked up that come out in volumes and usual have 12 issues of comics in them:

Ultimate Spider-man
Ultimate X-Men
Ultimate Fantastic 4
Ultimates
Daredevil
Punisher
Supreme Power
Astonishing X-Men
I also picked up these but they are smaller in size (6 issues in hardcover)

New Avengers
Young Avengers

For saving money and space these are the bomb! I pick up the large collected editions for right under $20.00 and they usual come with 12 issues plus extras in them, the look excellent displayed on the book shelf (I take off the dust jacket covers). I just ordered these last night:

Omnibus X-men #1
Omnibus Alias
Omnibus Fantastic Four #1
Walking Dead limited HC silpcase

and I have many others HC/slipcased as well:

Watchman
Hush
DC Heroes
X-men Legends
Marvels
Kingdom Come
Rising Stars
Earth X
etc...etc..etc...oh got off on a tanget...I was wonder If any of you have any recommendations of Hardcover Collected editions/limited editions that I should be on the look out for I'm hesitant to start the Marvel Masterworks line, now that it looks like the Omnibus line (X-Men amp; Fan 4) is starting to pick up, hoping that more will be released

I wish that Lone Wolf and Cub would come out in a large Hard Cover collected edition as well as Y - The Last Man and Fables

you will love the Walking dead slipcase i thinks it's an incredible HC book

I also suggest Crisis on infinite earth and Jla/Avengers both in Absolute edition there both perez and look awesome in oversize format.The extras on both these books is really nice

I'm reading that Alias Omnibus too at the moment , like it a lot !! and that Walking Dead is a great book to rise in value IMO , but I don't think I'm ever gonna sell it .

For further recommendations if you ask me .

Complete Frank Miller Batman Leather book is good but if you intend on picking up the absolute DK returens editions wouldn't buy the first one .

I also have the Earth X collector's HC but IMO not the best story out there , has great bonus art though .
I'm still waiting for a Preacher collector's set ,and maybe a 100 Bullets ominibus .

I am getting Ultimate Fantastic four and Punisher Max in HCs instead of buying the comics or in Tpb format.  i did this with Punisher as well before they stopped at vol 3

I'm getting the original Army of darkness HC.  Now I might sell the originals(that I got signed by John Bolton).  have to wait and see on that one.

getting Kingdom come and crisis AEs

There's going to be oversized Walking Dead hc's coming out. I also recommend Powers, Incredible and Runaways

Picked up the X23/NYX hc last week.  It's a decent enough story, still feel like I don't know the character that much.  I want to get those New Avengers books but they are a little too short to warrant the expense.  Waiting for the new Dark Knight Returns hc!

These haven't been released yet but keep an eye on Amazon for the Marvel Zombies HC and Ghost Rider:Road to Damnation HC.  Both are great books that can be picked up for under $13.  The Zombies one features all the orginal covers as well as the covers to all the reprints
