Have been offered a Padme Clone Wars Maquette for £350 + PP, think this is a fair price? should i buy? should i? should i?
Sounds like a good price to me.
Make sure there are no cracks on the legs. Apparently this is a problem on this maquette- that may be a reason why it is cheaper than normal asking price. Just be sure before you buy it.

thanks for the advise, after frantic emails sent back and forth and the chap seeming to be a reasonable person have just bought it through the wonder of 'buy it now' i feel terrible and delighted at the same time for spending so much on what my wife lovingly refers to as toys. hope she believes me when i tell her it only cost £50. gulp

Yeah thats a pretty good price. I paid £500 for mine about 18 months ago when they were big big money. Sounds like you got yours for a steal

This piece was the piece that my wife got for me as a wedding gift. To this day, i have no idea exactly how much she paid for it, but if I have to guess, I'll have to say she probably paid about $650.00-$700.00. I'll never sell this piece. Just the fact that she made the effort to research it, realized that it was a piece I needed in the collection and got it without me having to even ask for it and then gave it to me as a wedding gift, makes it that much more than just the statue.
It is truly one of my favorites.....if you are able to get one yourself, you won't be dissappointed. Especially with the rest of the set...
