Alright, those of you who know Red's powers up and down can help out with this...

Who would win in this three-way dance between these hellspawn?  I think Im liking Spawn to walk away from this one.  Dont ask me why...it seems like he's the one most capable of taking an @$$ beating and come back for more.

Hellboy, though tough, seems limited in his ability.  What say you?

i say spawn, he killed the devil and renounced the throne.

Don't really know any of the characters but would have to say spawn.
Seems more of a bad ass than the other two

Let's see:

Hellboy - Hellboy's superhuman abilities stem from his demonic nature. While his specific powers and abilities have never been explicitly described in the comics, Hellboy is much stronger and tougher than an ordinary human being.

Hellboy is not invulnerable, but he is extremely tough. He has been savagely beaten by large monsters on several occasions and survived, often with relatively few injuries. On one occasion, he directly charged an MG-42 machine gun and took numerous bullets to the chest before destroying the gun.

The extent of Hellboy's strength is unclear, but on at least one occasion he has torn down a large tree and hucled it at an opponent. He has also thrown opponents weighing at least four hundred to five hundred pounds. The Hellboy Sourcebook and Roleplaying Game, which was produced with input from Mignola, states that with two hands, Hellboy can lift approximately 750 pounds (340 kg). However, the comics suggest that Hellboy is stronger than this.

Hellboy's right hand, referred to as the Right Hand of Doom, consists of a large forearm and hand that seem to be made from red stone. The Hand is effectively invulnerable and feels no pain, and is much like a sledgehammer when used to punch an enemy. Of course, being far larger than an ordinary human hand, the Right Hand of Doom is not very suitable for use with most objects, so he relies on his average-sized left hand to operate weapons and devices.

In addition to his natural gifts, Hellboy carries a variety of items--such as holy relics, horseshoes, and herbs--in his utility belt. These often come in handy when fighting supernatural beasts.

Hellboy usually carries a large pistol. In the film adaptation, the gun is called quot;the Samaritan,quot; and Hellboy states that he uses special bullets containing silver shavings, holy water, and other materials to ensure the weapon's effectiveness against supernatural creatures.
Ghost Rider - As the Ghost Rider, Blaze possessed superhuman strength, enabling him to lift (press) about 5 tons, and immunity to most forms of conventional injury. Ghost Rider has superhuman strength and durability, as well as the ability to project and control Hellfire, which can sear the soul as well as burn the flesh. He can shape his Hellfire into a mystical motorcycle capable of traveling over water and up vertical surfaces. He is also immune to any mystical attacks that are specific to beings with living souls.
Spawn - Spawn's body is quite dense, weighing over four hundred pounds, and is composed completely of necroplasm. This gives him super strength and durability. While he still has internal organs, they are non-functional, and their damage/destruction does not hinder Spawn in the least. These organs re-appear when he magically regenerates his wounds. This may be due to Spawn's inability to let go of his human self, retaining his human organs even though he no longer requires them.

Spawn wears a living symbiotic costume. His cape, spikes, chains, and skulls are all part of one organism that will protect Spawn even if he is unconscious. Violator once said the suits feed on souls. The true source of the costume is the necroplasm in Spawn's body, which it feeds off of. It is possible for Spawn to draw this energy back when he needs it, using it to power his abilities without draining his own reserves. The costume can also feed off evil energy from the physical world, feeding off the ambient evil of people, animals (mainly carrion insects, but also wolves and bats) and even certain parts of the city.

Spawn has vast magical powers. In the issues before issue #50, Spawn had a limited power supply or quot;9999quot;. Each time Spawn used his energy, the counter would drain. Because of this reason, he relied primarily on his costume's natural abilities in fights. Other than the counter, the only limit was Spawn's imagination. Though he always tried not to expend a lot of magic, he has been shown using it for a variety of effects including resurrecting the dead, firing blasts of necroplasmic energy, teleportation, shapeshifting, and curing the sick.

Spawn still retains the military training and weapons expertise from his days as a soldier and thus frequently uses guns as an alternative to his magic.
If I had to rank these guys in terms of power:

1. Spawn
2. Ghost Rider
3. Hellboy

I think hellboy would pull off an upset

I dont know...Maybe ghosty could putt out a win here...he's completely inhuman. Unlike Spawn who maintains part of his humanity.  He might be susceptable for a soul-searing!

Hellboy just doesnt have the power to compete with these two.
