For fans of Frank's comic work, several collections are being released this year. Dark Horse released Thun'da, King of the Congo in a $50 archive HC this month.
Vanguard will be releasing SC and HC collections of The Complete Johnny Comet in November.
Due to a licensing fiasco, two volumes of White Indian will be produced, one by Vanguard, the other by Dark Horse. Formats will likely differ, but I don't recall this one ever being collected.
It's a shame that these are only being brought back into print now that Frank is gone, but that is so often the case...
Great news. I've only read his quot;Funny Animalquot; stuff, his few Creepy and EC horror stories, and a little Little Abner work. It shoul be fun to see some actual adventure strips. |
