Selling Items...Other places?

Other than ebay, what other websites do you guys recommend to sell things?  I am thinking about getting away from feebay...

Garage sales?

Since the peanut gallery chimed in. I mean online selling.

I just use forums and craigslist when i want to sell. someone needs to come up with a site where you can't get scammed and save money by not having to pay for all those lawyers

Does anybody use amazon?

I don't sell on amazon but it has become my number one shopping site over the past year so you may have luckselling there if others are leaving the bay for it as well

I was about to suggest amazon. I've bought some stuff through their e retailers.

I wonder how their fees work....

Does Amazon have an auction area?

I'd think that it would be the same as an eBaY store.  You post stuff and sit on inventory until an interested party finds what you are selling.

The reason I use eBaY is to sell and move the pieces.  If I made a decision  to sell them, I certainly don't want to hold 'em hoping some day someone is gonna go to Amazon to look for something other than books, music, and electronics.

Plus, you have to pay a fee to have a store there, right?
