My first Jim Lee X-Men page, plus a few others.
I have finally obtained by first piece of Jim Lee X-Men art. It just happens to be from his very first issue on X-Men #248 and it features my favorite character Storm. I think I was real lucky on the piece and I got it at a good price. I think it helped that the inker is Dan Green and not Williams. Also I think the goofy Longshot helped me out. I'm really happy because Storm looks awesome.
Also here are a few other things I have picked up.
2 Perez Avengers pages
Justice League page from 1983
Spider-Woman commission from Steve Rude
Detective Comics Splash with Batgirl.
Like the Rude piece. Wish I was into sketches when I met him years ago.
Great pick-ups, congrats!---PUNISHER KILLS THE MARVEL UNIVERSE---
I had forgotten how much Lee's first X-Men issue looked like Silvestri's work. I guess Marvel was trying to make a smooth transition. I don't think Longshot takes anything away from that page.
I love all of these, especially the Spider-Woman and the Hawks in space!
Great stuff!
cool stuff. did you get the Batgirl from Heritage or from someone who won it on Heritage?
Fantastic pick ups. Congrats!
love that Steve Rude piece

I got it off of Ebay. But I have noticed they sell some every week. I tried to win the lot last week, but my 2k bid was not enough.

I think that lot went sky high because of the combo of Batgirl and Supergirl
I think the Splash you got is one of the top 2 splashes that HA has sold by him |
