2 storylines I enjoyed recently...

Please no hating if you haven't even read them and are only repeating an opinion you were given by a reviewer.

1- Second Coming, I loved this storyline. No spoiler here...The scene near the end of chapter 13 between Logan, Scott, and Emma was incredible with very few words. It so perfectly showed the entire history of Logan and Cyclops in 3 panels and about 10 words. Good stuff.

2-Avengers Academy - Never heard of any of these students before I picked up this title. I love it, Gage is fantastic and I love the dynamics between these kids.

Thoughts?

I've enjoyed Avengers Academy.  Gage is a good team writer and Mike does great artwork as usual.

I thought Second Coming was quite excellent.
And Avengers Academy has been great!!

I'll echo the comments on Avengers Academy. It's been a well-written, beautifully drawn, fun title so far.

Avengers Academy has been my 2nd favorite Avengers book behind only Secret Avengers.

Second Coming is one of the best X-Stories along Messiah Complex and  Astonishing X-Men(Whedon/Cassaday).And for all the opinions about Avengers Academy I might check it out.

It figures, Avengers Academy is the one Avengers book I'm not reading. Maybe I'll pick it up now.

That was pretty good, I must admit--about reducing the relationship between Cyclops and Wolverine down to its bare essence.

Isn't Second Coming available in a collected edition (already)?

If so, I'll have to pick that up.. keep hearin' good things about it.
