How has StatueForum changed over the years? awesome, only, beginning, before

Old heads, what say you?


There are obviously more subsections now than in the beginning.
For me that means that I no longer keep up with all sections, but only a few. And that means that I no longer knows what's going on in other places.

And there are a lot less ban-threads now than before   

After 7 years this is still an awesome place to be

Agree with everything my distinguished friend has said.

It's a shame a lot of long term posters: Sam Wilson, Cage, General, Avenger, Teague, etc don't post much anymore, but it's natural that people would drop off.

The other thing I've noticed is that this forum has become a hub for art collectors AND statue collectors. You notice how influential the art community here has gotten because artists will start joing and making their own commission threads.

I blame the art area on ME lol jk jk but it does seem to get a lot of attention now. I still think its a great site after all these years and come on daily and plan to for a long time to come   I dont post as much in the statue area cause well too many noobs and trollers with opinions I don't agree with lol

yeah yeah everyone is entitled to their opinion .. only as long as it agrees with mine LOL

Oh yeah and some of you post TOO much sheesh post counts in the tens of thousands sheeshhh lol

You can blame the community sections for that!  

While the ones Rich name aren't among them, I thankful that there are a few posters that don't post here anymore ... it's made the place more enjoyable ... and I think the new blood of Mods has already made a nice change.   While the site is often imitated, you just can't beat an original.  

Too much focus on post counts when it didn't use to be. It would be nice if admins could do pruning of some of the community threads (and others) without all the drama of losing post counts.

Its great to see companies and artists/sculptors post on the forum and taking note of what is said on here
