Hey guys, i've been a past visitor to the site and love everyone's works!. I'm goin to start sculpting this ancient, cat-like, jedi looking guy. So far all i got is the armature and some sketches. Went out of town for about 2 weeks so i can't work on the clay until i get back. Thx for the replies! Oh yeah, i added a wooden base on the guy, but didn't take any pix. srry
you might want to straighten out the less bent leg or len the torso and chest forward because right now the armature is not conveying a since of gravity in my opinion, to me it looks like with the given state of the armature the character will appear off balance and about to fall on its back.
Looking good. You'll learn a lot along the way. Just remember, Patience.
Thanks for the input guys. Anything helps. i think Ill go ahead and bend the torso some like you said BL. Once again thx.
john brown related
You're right FY. It's a telescoping armature i learned to make from the john brown videos. Hes a good teacher when it comes to hands-on learning.
Hey guys. These are the most recent pix of the sculpture ive been workin on. I have a lot left to do too. As you can see i changed the original pose to a more quot;heroicquot; stance.
any feedback? ill take it good or bad.
Looking good so far. Can't wait to see how the face would turn out. Keep up the good work
That is shaping up nicely so far, good solid anatomy running. Keep it comin'! |
