Looking good so far. Nice rough sculpt.

Also, can you show a reference pic?

A reference picture or sketch always is a plus.  It really helps with the look and pose and we can also give you some pointers based on that so we know the direction your are headed in.  I can say take your time after roughing the figure and pay attention to anatomy and facial expression.  Use magazines, comics, or even a mirror to help.  Let us know if you have any trouble with a specific part or want to know anything.  We have some very helpful and honest people on board here.
