Got this jolly red giant on the doorstep today... and a new box of Chex Mix.
A few pics, which don't do it justice. Lots of flash glare on the excellent paintjob. Tons of beautiful detail in teh sculpt and the clothes.
My vote for statue of the year. Hands down.

The cape is attached around the neck and held to the gauntlets for a cool effect. It can't be taken off.
I lifted it in back, but couldn't get a full pic of the sculpture. It's sweet, though. Fully sculpted and no attention to detail was lost, even though it is hidden behind the cape.
The cape is extremely long and flowing. It goes far past the base.
Tons of little bangles, braids and doo-dads hanging off this thing. |
