So about a year ago I had no idea who Randy Bowen was, but used to collect comic books in my youth. I was in a local comic book store and saw this beautiful statue. I was awestruck, I felt this urge to 'have to own it'
I walked up to the cashier and asked how much the statue was. He explained the story that some guy ordered it 3 months ago, and never came in buy it, so it was just sitting there.

quot;100.00quot; he replied
quot;Would you take $75.00?quot;
quot;Sure, just to get rid of itquot;
So because of this gleaming full size statue I am now adding several new statues to my Christmas list LOLOH.....and that FS statue.......

Nice snag! Similar thing happened to me, only years ago. I was in a comic store where a guy was putting up a bunch of Bowen mini-busts. As I look at them I'm seeing Thor, Hulk, Antman, Deadpool, Magneto, Iron Man modern, plus about 10 others, all with price tags of about $35. I knew what these were selling for so I bought them all. Paid about $400 for 16 busts. Sold 1/2 of them for around $1000 (they were duplicates since I already had them) and used the money to buy more and cover the cost of the rest. You never know when good fortune will smile on you.
(at the time, Ebay was fairly new so not too many people knew what these were worth).
